Once fall arrives, Hanover County’s farms open their gates for weekend long fall festivals.

Pumpkins at Hanover Vegetable Farm
Ashland Berry Farm
Known for their all-you-can-carry pumpkins, the Ashland Berry Farm features a short hayride to a 30-acre pumpkin patch that you can pick from for $30. The $30 fee applies only once per group, but one group member must be able to hold all the picked pumpkins and walk three steps without dropping them. In addition to their pumpkin patch, they have kid friendly attractions like the 3D Boo House, Fort Pumpkin Adventure, and the Animal Corral on the weekends.
Hanover Vegetable Farm
Besides special events and concerts on the farm, there’s plenty of family-friendly fall activities at Hanover Vegetable Farm. On the weekends there’s pumpkin picking, corn mazes, corn cannons, a corn bin, pony rides, a giant sandbox, face-painting and more.
Lloyd Family Farms
Featuring Hanover County’s longest hayride, Lloyd Family Farms is only open for the fall season! Pick from a 50+ acre pumpkin patch and enjoy other activities like farm animals, a straw castle and sand pile, corn pit, and giant ball field and yard games.

Red Vein Haunt at Hanover Vegetable Farm combines indoor and outdoor horror for an interactive storytelling experience. 4 haunts tell the story of the more than a hundred years of blood and sacrifice around the mythical Blood Root that’s said to bestow wealth, healing, and clarity.
Transcend Paranormal Tours
Take a guided tour by Transcend Paranormal of different locations in Hanover County that are said to be haunted. Tours visit locations with reported paranormal histories and range from casual, informative outings to more immersive investigations using professional ghost-hunting equipment. Because Transcend Paranormal often partners with local organizations for special events, tour dates and locations vary throughout the year. Private group tours can also be arranged.
Creepy Hollow Scream Park
